Genesis and business expectations
A new insurance company, established within a capital group, turned to Altkom Software with the challenge of taking over and servicing a large portfolio of motor policies. Until then, the company had operated as an intermediary, and the shift to becoming a full insurer required building its own customer service and claims handling processes.
The key objective was to implement a system that would enable smooth servicing of the transferred portfolio from the very first day of operations. The client expected a scalable solution that would reduce costs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for security and reporting.

Project execution process
The project began with workshops to identify priorities: simple operations for agents and employees, automation of sales and claims processes, scalability, business continuity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Scope and delivery model
Altkom Software implemented its proprietary solution for comprehensive insurance management — Altkom Insurance Suite (AIS). The system runs in a cloud environment, with an architecture and configuration tailored to international supervisory requirements (EIOPA, DORA), ensuring compliance and full scalability.
Built-in AIS mechanisms enable automatic claims registration, elimination of duplicates, and standardisation of data used by claims handlers. The system was adapted to integrate with the client’s repair network — simplified settlements and improved cost transparency make it possible to better control expenses and streamline cooperation with service partners.
