PROJECT
Genesis and business expectations
Our client, a major company in the health insurance sector, was facing the challenge of consolidating operational data scattered across several key systems: ERP, core operational systems, customer website and HR.
Their existing approach – analysing data within individual silos – made it difficult to report consistently and assess operational performance across branches. The absence of a centralised data source hindered a coherent view of operations, negatively impacting business decision-making, especially in planning, profitability analysis and resource allocation.
The objective was to establish a unified, reliable data source that would ensure information consistency and provide robust support for both operational and financial decision-making at an organisational level.

Scope and delivery model
Altkom Software designed and delivered a dedicated data warehouse, integrating information from key systems such as ERP, the customer website, HR and core operational platforms. The solution, based on Microsoft technologies, enabled efficient data integration and the implementation of ETL processes. The resulting analytical model supported both high-level indicators and detailed cost analysis, providing greater control over operational and financial processes.
Previously fragmented and inaccessible data became available through interactive Power BI reports, which replaced static SSRS reports. These reports provided enhanced flexibility, up-to-date insights and better support for everyday decision-making across operational, HR and finance teams.
As part of the project, Altkom Software also provided comprehensive training for the client’s IT team, enabling them to independently maintain and further develop the solution. This ensured not only a modern data management platform, but also the internal capabilities needed for its ongoing optimisation and expansion.
