Wondering if Camunda 8 is the right move for your business?

01

Camunda 8 is based on the Zeebe engine, which differs significantly from the classic BPMN engine known from the previous version. For teams working with Camunda 7, the transition to the new architecture can be time-consuming.

02

Processes designed in Camunda 7 will not work directly in Camunda 8. Each process will need to be updated and adapted, which can be particularly cumbersome with a large number of complex workflows.

03

If your organisation is not yet using modern cloud technologies such as Kubernetes or Kafka, implementing Camunda 8 will require additional skills and infrastructure modifications.

04

The SaaS version of Camunda 8 operates on a subscription model, which can significantly increase expenditure compared to the Camunda 7 licence.

05

For smaller organisations using Camunda 7, the transition to Camunda 8’s distributed architecture may prove too complex and costly.
